A rugged, pump driven, motorized irrigation system that delivers water as a couplant for ultrasonic inspections using single or multiple probes. This will alleviate the need for manual water sprayers for inspectors, and will deliver constant water pressure with a tunable flow-rate. The portable pump system comes in one small case for transportation.
Internally, AUT has incorporated a 60 watt 12-volt encapsulated AC/DC power module. This will supply power for a 12-volt, 1.2 gallon per minute (GPM) chambered diaphragm self-priming pump. IP rated electrical connections and fuses ensure safety, while the 3/8” OD clear PVC tubing give you plenty of unobstructed flow to your scanning surface. Externally, the pump system comes equipped with quick connect tubing fittings, and easily identifiable on/off switch and fuse block. AUT Solutions provides a 5’ inlet line, complete with high pressure flexible tubing & connected to a 40-mesh suction strainer. Your outlet line is packaged high pressure flexible tubing & connected to an outlet control ball valve for precise control; from a trickle, all the way up to a 4-6 probe outpouring; approximately 5 gallons/15 minutes. Provided is a spare parts kit to ensure you always have on-site connectivity, or just need a few replacement parts in the field.
